This orthoimagery dataset was acquired by Kucera International in January and February 2013 during leaf-off conditions in Harris County, Texas, mainly over the City of Houston. Aerial orthoimagery flown during leaf-off conditions allows the data user to 1) identify man-made features through the deciduous tree canopy and 2) distinguish between evergreen and deciduous vegetation. The entire dataset is available at 12-inch pixel resolution. This pixel resolution allows the user to identify detailed features on the ground such as road turning lanes, fences, and park benches. |
